A video feature dedicated to Arborvitae was broadcast on Rai 1, within the segment Milleunlibro – Scrittori in TV, as part of the programme Sottovoce e dintorni, hosted by Gigi Marzullo.
Starting from a set of structural data—the ageing of the population, land consumption, and the increasing spread of cremation—the project questions the traditional cemetery model, highlighting its limitations in relation to the needs of contemporary citizens and urban systems.
Arborvitae proposes the concept of gardens of remembrance: public spaces in which the scattering of ashes beneath a commemorative tree can transform mourning into a generative act for those who remain, and into a renewed connection with the earth for those who depart.
