Next to the Battisti Hall, a grove of flowering cherry trees encloses a lawn designed in the shape of an oak leaf. A square travertine column, placed directly on the ground like a milestone, is engraved with the title of Mogol and Battisti’s song I Giardini di Marzo.
The garden expresses a dialogue between transience and permanence: the ephemeral blooming of Japanese cherries and the enduring presence of the stone column. A ground cover of pine bark, paired with the lawn, contributes to the garden’s chromatic balance.
