Albula, the ancient name of the River Tiber, is a project that highlights the essential role of riparian vegetation in soil protection, biodiversity and the functioning of aquatic ecosystems.

Glass fragments and panels recall transparency and light, while alluding to the movement of the river and to the materials shaped and transported by water. Defining the edge — the bank — a strip of coir fiber, commonly used for bank reinforcement, weaves through willows, poplars, brambles and reed beds, habitats that sustain wildlife and act as essential reservoirs of biodiversity.
