Albula, the ancient name for the river Tiber, is a project that invites reflection on the fundamental role of riparian vegetation for soil conservation, plant biodiversity, and aquatic ecosystems.

Through fragments and sheets of glass, the design evokes the flow of the river and the elements that the water drags with it, transforming them. To mark the limit, a strip of coconut fiber, a material used to consolidate river banks, runs between willows, poplars, brambles and reeds, shelter and nourishment for wildlife, a fundamental reservoir of biodiversity.
